Brand Identity
Brief IMAX created a new initiative with the goal to celebrate its theater partners, who play a crucial role in driving the performance of and bringing value to the IMAX Experience. Dubbed the Excellence Awards, this yearly program recognizes commercial brilliance across their global network of nearly 1,800 theaters in 90 countries.
Solution We crafted a logo that feels familiar, while representing two entities coming together to form something special—a diamond. The system reflects diamond-like qualities with faceted shape language and prismatic color expression. It feels premium with elevated type treatments and abstract background textures.
